These positions serve preschool through second-grade students and require expertise in assessments, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and teletherapy modalities.
Position 1 details:
- Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week
- Preschool caseload includes approximately 48 children; 27 in Specialized Day Class (SDC) and 21 speech-only preschoolers
- Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, leading IEP meetings, and supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Candidates must demonstrate experience with the Special Education Information System (SEIS) as used in California school districts within the last 1-2 years
- Proven ability to assess and participate in high-priority IEP meetings is essential
- Supervision of SLPA is required
Position 2 details:
- Part-time role totaling 25 hours per week
- Caseload comprised of TK to 2nd-grade students, approximately 25 in total with 15-20 focusing on speech-only services
- Duties encompass direct speech services, evaluations, and IEP involvement
- Candidates are expected to provide references reflecting recent use of SEIS in California school districts
